Next, a crane came from the nearby Sinohydro project, to lift it off the truck and onto the pillars.
After four hours of getting the truck stuck and unstuck and the crane stuck and unstuck, the clutch plates in the crane were destroyed and we were no closer to being unloaded. The final solution was to set the container directly on the ground about 150' from the foundation pillars. This is not a good solution, as we need to unload the container as much as possible and attempt to slide it into position adjacent to the pillars and then raise it up and slide it onto the pillars. We have our work cut out for us at this point, so will definitely need your prayers as we attempt to maneuver this heavy box using what tools we have available. The crane foreman said they will fix the clutch and come back to set the container onto the pillars, but we have no idea how long this may take and we have ten team members beginning their journey here today from all over the US. We won't have their help until Tuesday and we are doubtful the crane will be back before our team arrives. So, the difficulties continue. Perhaps we should restate that to say that the opportunity to see God help us through the difficulties is now upon us. We will make every attempt to do things as safely as possible.
Praise the Lord that you at lest have the container there. Praying for no rain and a new clutch so you can move on with the job.
